The Graduate Certificate Program Begins Accepting Applications Fall 2020
The graduate certificate in Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies (IRES) offers graduate students across campus the opportunity to enroll in a concentrated program of study centered on race, indigeneity, and intersectionality. The certificate provides a foundational curriculum as well as a specialized focus in areas aligned with students’ interests.

Applications will open in Fall 2020, with a priority application deadline of December 15, 2020.
Our first cohort will begin Fall Term of 2021.
We are planning for our program to be in-person, but will make necessary adjustments depending on the state of the global pandemic, and directions from the Oregon Health Authority and the University of Oregon.
